2. Our Role

Ritz Media acts only as a promotional and referral platform. Once contact is made, the relationship, agreement, and communication are strictly between you and the individual provider. Ritz Media does not oversee, manage, guarantee, or certify the performance or suitability of any provider.

  • Live Event Broadcasting
  • Magicians & Children’s Entertainers

Each individual provider is solely responsible for their equipment, communication, performance, timescales, and insurance.

4. Bookings, Payments & Contracts

Payments are made directly to the individual service provider. Ritz Media does not process, hold, or issue payments, invoices, or receipts on behalf of providers.

Any contractual terms or booking confirmations form a legally binding agreement strictly between you and the service provider you choose.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms vary between providers. It is your responsibility to review and agree to these terms before confirming a booking.

Ritz Media does not mediate disputes or take responsibility for disagreements, cancellations, or dissatisfaction with services received.

6. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All creative content produced by photographers, videographers, editors, DJs, livestream operators, or other creators remains the intellectual property of the individual who created it, unless otherwise transferred in writing.

6.1 Dual Copyright for Event Content

Where appropriate, and for standard consumer event bookings (such as weddings or celebrations), content captured may operate under a dual copyright agreement. Under this arrangement, both the client and the creator may use, share, print, store, and distribute the final content for personal use or promotion without requiring additional permission.

6.2 Usage Rights

Unless otherwise stated, the client is granted a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the content for personal and promotional use, including posting online, printing, sharing privately, and business advertising.

6.3 Exclusive Copyright Upgrade

If a client requires sole ownership, exclusive rights, or full copyright assignment, this may be available as a paid upgrade and must be confirmed via a signed written agreement. Until such an upgrade is purchased and documented, the creator retains full ownership and rights described above.

6.4 Third-Party Consent

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure venue rules, safeguarding requirements, and filming permissions are met. Ritz Media and its providers are not responsible for obtaining consent from guests unless specifically contracted to do so.

6.5 Use of Media for Promotion

Ritz Media and individual service providers may use event content—including photos, video, audio, or livestream excerpts—for promotional purposes including portfolios, social media, websites, printed materials, or advertising.

Where identifiable individuals appear, use will comply with UK GDPR and reasonable industry practice. Clients may request removal or opt out, and reasonable efforts will be made to comply unless legal or contractual rights apply.

Sensitive or private content (such as minors, medical events, funerals, or confidential locations) will not be shared publicly without explicit consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

Ritz Media assumes no responsibility for:

  • Service delays or cancellations
  • Quality, availability, or suitability of services
  • Equipment failure, loss, or technical issues
  • Financial loss, injury, or damages arising from booked services

All liability rests with the individual provider.

8. Privacy & Data Handling

Information submitted via this website is shared only with relevant providers for responding to enquiries. Data is not sold or distributed outside of this purpose and is not stored longer than necessary.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom. Any legal matters must be addressed directly with the provider involved.
